Swinging Stitches Set Crochet Pattern PDF (English)

This pattern is for personal use only, please do not sell items you make with it, or reproduce the pattern.

This pattern is beginner friendly, worked up in the round, so there's no sewing together separate pieces! It is a made to measure pattern, meaning I have not written individual sizes. This makes the pattern extremely customisable and size inclusive, and there's very little maths involved (the maths that are involved are super basic, and I've given clear instructions throughout).

Materials & equipment: 1 x 4mm crochet hook. 4 x stitch markers. 1 x darning needle. See next page for a rough guide of how much yarn my testers used for their respective sizes.

Crocheting level: beginner friendly

Abbreviations: I use the American terms for crochet stitches. SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
TC – triple crochet

Gauge swatch: 12 stitches (double crochets) and 7 rows = 3x3 inch square using Sirdar Stories
Although I recommend using DK yarn and a 4mm hook so the overall set doesn’t become too sheer– this is totally down to personal preference. The pattern is appropriate for thicker yarn weights and bigger hooks.

Below is a guide of how much yarn my testers used for their sets. Use this as a rough guide as the pattern is customizable in terms of length, meaning two different sizes could use the same amount of yarn
XS – 5 balls of Sirdar Stories
XS/S – DK acrylic yarn 200 grams
S – 20 balls of Drops Muskat (2 strands held together) S – Aran weight 350 grams
S – 8 ply cotton yarn 395 grams
S/M – 200 grams of Bernat Baby Yarn
M – 3 balls of Paintbox Cotton DK
M/L – 6 balls of Sirdar Stories
L/XL – 6 balls of Sirdar Stories
L/XL – 9 balls of Sirdar Stories
