In March of 2020 when we went into the first national lockdown here in the UK, I set up an Instagram page to post photos of the socks I was knitting for friends and family at the time. I had no intention or expectation that it would ever grow into a business, which is what makes this so special. Spurred on by the encouragement and interest I was gaining on my handmade socks, I branched out to designing other items and taught myself to crochet. My business grew from there and today I offer multiple designs, knit and crochet patterns, and pride myself on being size inclusive and as sustainable as possible.

Not only am I passionate about knitting and crocheting, but I feel strongly about the importance of slow and sustainable fashion. In a world where so much, including our wardrobes are disposable, I believe we need to respect, mend, recycle and rewear our clothes as much as possible. Making my own clothes has reinforced this for me. When we know how much time, energy and love goes into creating one item of clothing, we treat it with care and understand the value of it. I hope, if you already do or plan on owning something from MeganFaithMakes you will love it and keep it forever.
